Drones kill 80pc innocent: Malik



ISLAMABAD  - Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Wednesday the majority of those killed in drone attacks were innocent people. According to the minister, only 20 per cent of those killed in drone attacks were militants while the rest were innocent people.  Malik, while speaking to the media outside Parliament, said that around 336 drone strikes inside Pakistan had claimed around 2,300 lives. He added that 96 cross-border attacks were launched from Afghanistan. Asked about an operation in North Waziristan, he claimed that no statements were made regarding this matter.
