ISLAMABAD- The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced that the party would hold a sit-in at D-Chowk in the federal capital's red zone.
This decision was taken during a PTI core committee meeting today. The party's leadership emphasized the sit-in would be peaceful and appealed to workers to restrain from any violent activities.
PTI chairman, Imran Khan said that the only option was for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign and the time to listen to him had passed. Imran Khan also admitted that he had earlier assured Interior Minister Nisar of not entering the red zone but later sent a message to him that he could not control workers.
