The district police caught 15 outlaws and recovered arms, drugs, alcohol and booty from their possession during a crackdown last night, police sources said. Four proclaimed offenders, one absconder, eight bootleggers and two holders of illicit arms were arrested from different areas during the crackdown. The POs included Shabbir, Baqir Hussain, Majeed Ahmad and Abdul Rasheed while the absconder was identified as Asif. Similarly, accused Punnu and Wakeel were caught in possession of illicit arms as police recovered from them a revolver and Kalashnikove respectively. The bootleggers and drug dealers caught by police included Tariq, Shakil, Hanif, Imran Hayat, Faisal, Muhammad Hafeez, Abdul Wahid and Nadeem. Police recovered 33 litres of liquor, 438 gram Charas and 145 gramm heroine.
