A lawyer in Faisalabad Sessions Court on Monday tortured a civil judge on rejecting bail of an accused.
According to eyewitnesses, Advocate Mohsin appeared in the court of Civil Judge Azhar Ali Jaffari and sought bail of an accused of robbery.
The civil judge rejected the bail which enraged the lawyer who attacked judge. The lawyer manhandled the judge and passed abusive remarks.
The judiciary staff caught the lawyer and handed him over to police but other lawyers freed him from custody of the police after which some lawyers again attacked the judges and passed abusive words.
According to the judicial staff, all judges left work in protest and gathered in the court of the senior civil judge.
