Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that his government’s policies guarantee economic and political stability, integrity and prosperity thus, he claimed, almost every citizen is satisfied with the present government’s performance.
He was talking to the party workers, local elected representatives and different delegations at his residence in Sialkot Cantt. Mr Khawaja said that the PML-N now has become the symbol of strong and durable democracy in the country as it was striving to strengthen democracy in Pakistan. He said that the wrong political and economic policies of the PPP had put the country and the nation into several crises, especially loadshedding. He said that now his party was successfully combating these crises. He said that the price hike was temporary, adding that strict measures were being adopted to pull the label of begging from Pakistani national.
“The PML-N aims to break the begging bowl and make Pakistan a self reliant and developed country. The masses should show more patience to help the government getting rid of all the crises. The government is striving and making some revolutionary decisions for providing maximum relief and opportunities for the people to live a prosperous life. It will raise their living standard through ensuring early and smooth provision of all the basic facilities at their doorsteps,” he said.
Later, talking to newsmen, the federal minister said that the PML-N was the guardian of democracy and striving for rights of the masses. It would never allow anyone to derail democratic process, and that it would successfully eliminate anti-democracy conspiracies, he said. He said that PML-N government was safeguarding the rights of the party workers, as the sincere, dedicated workers and companions were the asset the PML-N.
He revealed that the PML-N government was strengthening the institutions in the country and promoting the democracy and democratic norms and values, besides, putting the country on the path to political and economical stability. He added that the PML-N would continue serving the masses without any discrimination. MNAs Sahibzada Syed Iftikharul Hassan Shah, Armughan Subhani, MPAs Muhammad Manshaullah Butt, Arshad Javaid Warraich, Muhammad Ikram, Tariq Akhtar Subhani, Muhammad Asif Bajwa Advocate and Markazi Anjuman Tajraan Sialkot President Ghulam Mujtaba were also present.
