RAWALPINDI - Two real brothers were shot dead by unknown assailants in Yaatran within the limits of Police Station (PS) Pindigaib on Friday.
Police filed a murder case and taken a close relative of the deceased into custody on suspicion. The deceased were identified as Naheem, 27, and Nadeem, 24.
According to details, both the brothers left their home after receiving a phone call on their cell in the evening on Eid day. As they reached near bushes, unknown killers who were already hiding there opened fire at them killing them on the spot.
The local police rushed to the crime scene and shifted the dead bodies to nearby hospital. The police took a relative of the deceased into custody for interrogation on suspicion.
Youngster commits suicide
Meanwhile, a 25-years-old man committed suicide at Kotha Kalan area of Police Station Morgah, Rawalpind, for not giving him full amount by her mother to buy a sacrificial animal, sources said.
According to details, Amir Pervez, the son of Lal Khan, a worker in some private company, demanded money from his mother to buy a sacrificial animal.
However, the mother could pay him only Rs 10,000 with the request to try to share the sacrifice in some big animal with town fellows. But the young man got distressed and committed suicide by shooting into his head with a pistol.
The local police and rescuers moved the dead body to hospital. The doctors handed over the dead body to heir after carrying out postmortem.
