Pindi police resolve blind murder mystery

RAWALPINDI: Police claimed to have solved the mystery of a blind murder case in Airport area within one hour after hectic efforts.
Briefing journalists on Wednesday, Station House Officer Syed Azhar Shah at Police Station Airport said that police found a dead body packed in a sack from Nullah Leh. The deceased, later identified as Mati Ullah, aged 30, didn't posses any documents. However, police started investigation and after hectic efforts the case was solved.
He said Mati was married with Nabeela but she had an affair with another man Saqi Ullah of Bannu. SHO said that both girl and the man from Bannu murdered Mati in his home and later thrown his dead body in Nullah Leh wrapping it in a sack. Police arrested both the killers.
During preliminary interrogation, according to Azhar, the girl confessed that she had an affair with Saqi and she wanted to marry with him. She said that they both had no option but to remove Mati from their way, adding they planned to commit his murder.–Staff Reporter
