MAILSI -The Excise and Taxation Department has issued a list of public and private institutions that owe up to Rs1 million in property taxes and warned the property tax defaulters to pay their dues without waiting till June 30, otherwise strict action will be taken against them.
Excise and Taxation Department Inspector Bashir Ahmad Kharal was talking to media here the other day
He said that public and private institutions that owe up to Rs1 million in property taxes would be 100 per cent recovered across the tehsil till April 30.
Kharal said that the department warned to unpaid tax holders to pay their remaining amount in govt tax account. The list of unpaid defaulters pasted on the Excise and Taxation Office and also issued show cause notices to them.
