Four injured in Peshawar hand grenade attack

PESHAWAR  - Some four persons were injured when unknown motorcyclist attacked a mosque in Badhabera area of Peshawar with a hand grenade on Thursday.
Local sources said that the incident occurred in Piran Mosque in Mera Kachori village, jurisdiction of Badhabera Police Station. The attack resulted in injuring of four persons who were busy in recitation of Holy Quran at evening time.
Soon after the incident rescue 1122 staff and police rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. The personnel of bomb disposal squad were not allowed to search the area as police were trying to avert any follow up blast.
The injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar where they were provided emergency medical treatment. Police said that search is underway for the arrest of the unknown motorcyclist.
