Docs demand arrest of colleague’s killers

ATTOCK - Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), Attock chapter, has strongly condemned the brutal killing of Dr Babar Ali and demanded of the government to make all-out efforts to arrest his killers.
General Secretary PMA, Dr Sajjad Naqvi, said this on Wednesday while expressing his deep sorrow over this brutal killing of Babar and demanded security arrangements for the doctors. He said that doctors working in different areas had been receiving life and extortion threats. He said that PMA Attock would take out a protest rally on Friday to condemn the murder.
Earlier a large number of doctors, paramedics and people from different walks of life attended the funeral prayer of Dr Babar Ali at Hasanabdal. It is to be noted that Dr Babar Ali, Deputy District Officer (Health) Hasanabdal, was killed by some unknown assailants on Tuesday night when he was coming out of his private clinic.
