Foreign policy moving in right direction: PM

MIANWALI- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the country is facing grave challenges which need instant decisions to overcome.

Addressing renaming ceremony of PAF Mianwali air base as M. M, Alam base on today. The Prime Minister said more delay could not be afforded to meet the challenges which are being faced by the country. He said the government is striving forward to make the country a progressive and developed State which could meet the requirement of modern era. Nawaz Sharif said none of the country has requested Pakistan to send its forces nor Pakistan will send its forces to any other country. He said the visit of King of Bahrain is in the interest of Pakistan. He said the recent visit of  Saudi Crown Prince also reflects that Pakistan foreign policy is moving in the right direction. He hoped these visits will go a long way in further strengthening Pakistan's ties with Muslim countries. The Prime Minister said Pakistan Air Force is fully capable to defend Pakistani territory. He said PAF has made significant efforts to improve its capabilities and the production of JF-17 Thunder is one of the best examples. He hoped that PAF will continue to bring in further improvement in various sections. He said the incumbent government is committed to turn the country into a real progressive and welfare State.
