RAWALPINDI : Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif offered the funeral prayer of the victims of a suicide attack in Rawalpindi on Monday. A military statement issued here said the COAS and a large number of senior military officials, relatives of martyrs and locals of the area offered the funeral prayers of R.A. Bazar Rawalpindi suicide attack martyrs. A deadly suicide blast had taken place near the said bazaar Monday early morning.
At least 13 persons including eight security forces personnel, three school children and two other civilians embraced martyrdom while 29 were injured in this act of terror.
