PESHAWAR- A Sri Lankan national, who was missing for months, was found in a police detention today.

Muhammad Zaman, a Sri Lankan citizen, had gone missing from Hayatabad area of Peshawar. It was earlier believed that he was abducted but later it emerged that the missing man was under custody of Peshawar police.

He was produced in a court on June 27, 2014 however court ordered his release due to want of evidence in any criminal activity.

Zaman told a private TV channel that police had detained him despite not having any evidence against him. He has now again gone missing after brief appearance to the media.
