SIALKOT-Death anniversary of veteran poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz was observed in Sialkot here on Wednesday. In his native village Kala Pahaarang-Sialkot, people held a gathering and offered Fateha for the eternal peace of Faiz’s soul.
During a reference held at Government Murray College Sialkot (the alma mater of Faiz Ahmed Faiz), College Principal Prof Javaid Akhtar Billah, teachers and students paid rich tributes to Faiz Ahmed Faiz for his splendid and revolutionary thought, vision and poetry, and literature he produced during his lifetime.
