ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be addressing the nation today (Saturday) to give details of the government’s programme for special package for unemployed youth to start their own businesses.
The federal cabinet on Friday gave approval to the Prime Minister’s package for youth, which he had pledged with them during his elections campaign. The PM would unveil the details of the programme approved by the federal cabinet in his address to the nation, which would be telecast Saturday evening.
Sources in the government informed The Nation that the PM’s address would be recorded in the afternoon while it would be telecast on national hook-up in the evening. The sources further said that due to these engagements of the Premier on Saturday, his expected departure for United States to attend the United Nations General Assembly session was delayed for 10 to 12 hours and now the Premier would leave for US early Sunday morning.
The sources in the Prime Minister House informed that he would spend Saturday night with his family in Lahore and would return back to the federal capital on special plane on Sunday morning and from the airport he would board the special plane along with his entourage for the US.
