PESHAWAR- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s aircraft made an emergency landing in Peshawar today due to unfavorable flying conditions.
According to media reports the premier was on his way to Chitral to discuss matters of the Lowari Tunnel, which is currently under construction. Upon reaching Peshawar, the premier was briefed on the assistance being provided to the people displaced due to Operation Zarb-e-Azb. Nawaz was accompanied by Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. The PM is currently at the Governor House in Peshawar and will leave for Chitral once the weather improves.
