PML-N decides to seek MPA Rana Shoaib's resignation

LAHORE-Pakistan Muslim League (N) has decided to seek resignation from their MPA Rana Shoaib Idrees.
According to the reports, an important member of PML (N) consulted with the top party leadership of the party and Faisalabad’s local leadership and has decided to order Rana Shoaib Idrees to tender his resignation.
The MPA is accused of breaking into Khurrianwala Police Station in Faisalabad along with armed men and getting a prisoner, charged with murder, freed from the Police Station forcefully.
The incident took place on the Friday Night. Initially, the Police had not mentioned the MPA in its report but after recording statements of the eye-witnesses Rana Shoaib was included among the accused. The MPA has been charged under section 540.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif had taken the notice Monday and had directed the Police to take indiscriminate action against whoever is involved.
Provincial Law Minister Rana Mashhood stated earlier that Punjab Police has been directed to arrest Rana Shoaib Idrees and he will be forced to tender his resignation from the provincial assembly seat, if found guilty.
