KARACHI - Crime Investigation Department (CID) claimed to have arrested three alleged target killers and recovered illegal weapons and drugs from their possession. City Police Officer (CPO) Saud Mirza addressing a press conference at CPO Office here on Monday said that a task had given to CID of Sindh Police to arrest the target killers. SSP CID Sindh Fayyaz Khan on a tip-off raided at Bombay House, Gulistan-e-Juhar, and arrested three target killers belonged to Muddasir Langra, alias chief, group, while their three others aides managed to escape, he said. He said the accused were identified as Rao Mohammad, Muhammad Nadeem Khan alias Rickshaw, and Babar Ali. Saud Mirza said that the accused were involved in target killings, robberies, kidnapping for ransom, encounters with police, drug peddling and in many blasts. They also confessed that they had raped women at gunpoint. The police recovered two Kalashnikovs, two hand-grenades, two rifles, 5-kg hashish and several rounds from their processions. To a question, the CPO said that police would continue taking action against the target killers. Mirza said that they were involved in 30 cases and most of murders happened in 2011, adding that the culprits had confessed the murders of Abdul Kareem, Asad Ullah, M Nawaz, Rasool Bux, Mohammad Taj , Saeed Ullah, Amjad, Fayyaz Ibrahim, Abdul Wahab, Imtiaz Khan, Qarar Ali, Ayaz Khan, Asghar Khan.
