Multan - The Water and Sanitation Authority (Wasa) has decided to launch crackdown on defaulters as the recovery officers are issued orders to approach all defaulters at their homes and disconnect their water and sewerage connections besides sending their challans to the court. Sources said that the Wasa Managing Director has directed its recovery staff to ensure 100 percent recovery of government dues during the month of May and take strict action against those, who are reluctant to pay the dues. Meanwhile, addressing a meeting of recovery officers, Wasa Director Recovery Shahid Saleem asked them to take personal interest in the recovery of the dues. He said that the private housing schemes had to pay Rs8.7 million to the Wasa as connection and supervision charges but nothing was recovered from them so far. He asked the recovery officials to approach the owners of these schemes and recover the amount. BZU DECLARES RESULTS: The Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan has announced the results of MA English (Sp), Part-1 (Annual system) Annual Examination, 2010 and M.Sc. Psychology, Part-1 & 11 (Annual System) Annual Examination, 2010 here on Saturday. MA ENGLISH (SP), PART-1 According to the result notification, a total of 34 candidates appeared in the MA English (Sp), Part-1 examination out of which just six could get through while 28 failed. Thus the overall success ratio in this examination stood at 17.65 percent. MSC PSYCHOLOGY, PART-1 & 11 The MSc Psychology, Part-1 & 11 examination was taken by 401 candidates out of which 381 were declared successful. Just 20 candidates failed to qualify the examination. The overall success ratio in this examination stood at 95.01 percent.
