Peshawar High Court (PHC) has dismissed the case filed against Oil and Gas Regularity Authority (OGRA) by CNG stations owners.
2-member bench of PHC comprising Chief Justice (CJ) Dost Mohammad and Justice Assadullah Chimkani heard the case filed against OGRA by CNG owners.
On this occasion CJ remarked “60 % of CNG stations owners are thieves, court had ordered to disconnect the illegal CNG connections in Mardan, Kohat and Kirak because they could lead any major incident any time.
Dismissing the case, CJ said if fire erupted due to these connections, fire brigade vehicles of entire country will remain unsuccessful in preventing the incident.
CNG owners had argued in the case that they are being given less gas pressure and it should be increased.
