ISLAMABAD - Investigation team of Islamabad police on Tuesday discussed possibility of questioning Director General (HR) in relation with mysterious death of Kamran Faisal."Following local media reports that DG (HR) allegedly pressed Kamran Faisal to sign an affidavit in back dates, police believe role of DG (HR) has become vital that can solve mystery of NAB official's death," a senior member of investigation team told TheNation. Sources said, investigation team was expected to question NAB's Director General (HR) on Wednesday (today) after getting permission through proper channel.Reportedly, Kausar Iqbal Malik, Director General Human Resource NAB, had pressurised Kamran to submit an affidavit in back date of Nov 15, 2012 to withdraw from the probe of the Rental Power Projects case. Earlier, on Tuesday authorities of polyclinic hospital Islamabad told investigation team that they did not find any record pertaining to Faisal’s medication or his appearance in the hospital for checkup. On Monday investigators approached psychologist Najma Aziz and asked her to confirm or deny the reports suggesting that deceased Kamran Faisal remained under her treatment. However, she refused to record her statement and advised the investigators to approach head of polyclinic hospital where she is practicing currently, a source close to Dr Najma told TheNation on Monday quoting her. It merits mentioning here that Dr Najma told her boss, head of polyclinic hospital of her intentions not to record the statement. However, on Monday, she asked investigation team of Islamabad police to follow standard procedures to approach her to record her statement. On Tuesday, authorities of Polyclinic hospital approached the investigation team and conveyed to them through proper channel that they did not find any record regarding appearance of Kamran Faisal in their hospital for check up.
