OUR STAFF REPORTER HAFIZABAD - The Punjab government has allocated Rs102 million for development and Rs250 million under district package for the year 2011-12 for Hafizabad, said District Development Committee chairman Ch Afzal Hussain Tarar. He was chairing a meeting of the DDC which was attended among others by MPA Mian Shahid Hussain Bhatti, MPA Ch Asad Ullah Arain DO Finance Riaz Ghani Basit, EDO Works Khalid Usmani and DO Building Malik Mirajul Islam. Ch Afzal Tarar said that funds would be spent with mutual consultation of members of the assemblies. He however, said that most of the funds would be spent on the construction / repair of school buildings, up-gradation of existing school, provision of filtration plants, sewerage system and resurfacing of the roads.
