OKARA
In a police shootout, an alleged dacoit namely Nadeem alias Phuni of 411-GB Tandlian Wala was killed while a policeman suffered bullet injuries near check post Miran Shah.
As per police, cases of murder, murder attempts and serious incidents were registered against the deceased in Okara, Faisalabad and other districts. Three armed men barged into the house of Mohammad Abid Iqbal. Holding the family at gunpoint, they locked them in a room and made off with 9 tolas of gold ornaments, 4 mobiles and LCD besides cash.
