ISLAMABAD- The religious seminaries (Madaris) have decided today to forge unity against the likely crackdown by the government on seminaries in and have called its joint meeting next week in Lahore.

Despite the assurance by the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to the head of Wafaq ul Madaris that government has no intention to carry out operation against seminaries, various heads of seminaries from different schools of thought called its joint meeting coming month over the possible action of government. But final decisions will be taken by religious seminaries belonging to different schools of thoughts against the move in the joint meeting and will consider launching a movement. According to sources, due to the government intention to conduct operation against some of the seminaries in the country, the administrators of various Madaris likely to held joint meeting in Lahore against the government possible move.
