WASHINGTON - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said, “We want Washington to include Islamabad in its trade market, and Pakistan should not be takes as an aid-seeking country.”
In an interview with Waqt TV channel Tuesday, the PM said the country’s economy as well as quality of products would get better after getting a space in the international market.
He said the government would take steps to ensure a transparent mechanism in this regard.
To a query, the PM said the government would soon introduce a concrete programme for those overseas Pakistanis who cannot invest, so that they could play their role in the country’s development.
To another query about Mariam Nawaz’s contributing role for the betterment of women and uplift of education sector, the PM said the government has various plans in this regard which would be materialised in the time to come.
To a query about protecting Pakistan’s ideology, Nawaz said he is a true soldier and respects wholeheartedly the Pakistan Muslim League that founded Pakistan.
