KARACHI- Police claimed to have recovered head of an alleged suicide bomber who killed police officer Shariq Tanoli and three others in Karachi earlier today.
“We have found upper part of head of the bomber aged between 22 and 25 years. The attacker had long hair and beard on his face,” senior CID official Raja Omar Khattab said. Separately, IG Sindh Iqbal Mehmood has sought an initial investigation report into the attack. Earlier today, a suicide bomber blew himself up near Tanoli’s residence in city’s Old Sabzi Mandi area. The blast killed the police official and three others, including his two bodyguards Jalal and Daood. Nobody has so far claimed responsibility for the latest bomb attack in the city plagued for years by sectarian, ethnic and political violence.
