PTI allowed to hold rally at Mazar-e-Quaid

KARACHI - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been allowed to hold a public meeting at Mazar-e-Quaid on Sunday (tomorrow), reported a private TV channel on Friday.
Earlier, police on Friday locked down the ground adjacent to mausoleum and barred PTI workers from entering. PTI leaders and workers were expelled from the ground and a copy of the Sindh High Court (SHC) order had been put up at the main gate of the ground.
APP adds: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan has directed Home Department and police to make special security arrangements on December 25 for Christmas festival and the public meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
He also directed to make foolproof security on the occasion of death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto which would be observed on December 27, said a statement issued on Friday.
