NA session starts today

ISLAMABAD - Amid deteriorating law and order and economic meltdown in the country, the 28th session of National Assembly is going to start from today (Monday). Interior Minister Rehman Malik is likely to brief the house about the current law and order situation and the govt's steps to maintain peace in the economic hub of the country. It is pertinent to mention here that several adjournment motions regarding law and order in Karachi have been submitted in the National Assembly Secretariat and the house may take up the issue. Meanwhile, sources in the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs claimed that the govt was all set to table accountability bill in the house during this session. "The bill was even ready during last session but was delayed on certain grounds," the sources said.
