Five dead in NWA drone hit

PESHAWAR - Five people were killed when an unmanned US predator targeted a suspected vehicle and house in North Waziristan Agency Monday.
Local sources said that the attack took place at Degan village in NWA, close to the Afghan border. The missile hit a house and a vehicle carrying some people in the area, leaving all them killed. The vehicle was going to Datta Khel from Degan when it came under attack. As a result, the vehicle caught fire and reduced to ash. Over 100 raids were reported in the area in 2010, and more than 60 took place last year of 2011. Such attacks by the unmanned aircraft appear to have been resumed from January 10.
