Behind the attack on Hazrat Zainab (RA)’s shrine are satanic powers. It is an attack on the whole Muslim Ummah and would never be tolerated, said speakers during a protest rally.
“Martyrdom is our heritage and our every child understands it. Enemies of Islam are busy making conspiracies against the Muslims. The government of Pakistan should condemn the attack at a diplomatic level,” the demaded. They added that killings of the Muslims have become a common practice throughout the world. The Burmese Muslims are being murdered in a great numbers who the leaders of Islamic states have become silent spectators.
They further said that leaders of all the Islamic states should unite under one umbrella to thwart the non-Muslims’ conspiracies.
TWO HELD, ABDUCTEE RECOVERED:
Bahawalpur police arrested two suspects including Munawar Kaleem and Bedaar Bakht allegedly involved in kidnapping for ransom case and recovered the abducted Mustaqeem.
DPO Sohail Habib said the 13-year-old was abducted from Officers Colony near Chowk Fawara at gunpoint and taken to Kehror Pakka. Unknown person contacted the father of Mustaqeem residing in Saudi Arabia and demanded Rs3 million ransom for his release.
Muhammad Akram, his father, offered to pay 500,000 and demanded two days to arrange the amount and during this he registered a case in Police Station Cantonment. To arrest these persons, a team was constituted under the supervision of ASP City Zeeshan Shafiq in which Inspector Shafqat Atta, Inspector Sarfraz Hussain, ASI Abdul Razzaq, Abdul Lateef and ASI Afzal Nawaz were included.
The DPO further said that the police team arrested them from Fauji Basti Bahawalpur and recovered 200,000 rupees cash out of the ransom amount and two pistols and registered a case with Police Station Cantonment and raiding different places in search for other criminals.
Father of the child announced Rs100,000 cash reward for the police team.
