Nawaz accepts invitation to visit India to appease US and India: Sheikh Rasheed and Hafiz Saeed

ISLAMABAD/KARACHI- A section of political and religious leaders have flayed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif acceptance of invitation to participate in swearing in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi saying the invitation has been accepted to appease US and India.
Reacting to the matter, chairman of Pakistan Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said the matter of PM Nawaz Sharif visit to India had been decided in the meeting between Army Chief and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif a day before. Criticizing PM Nawaz Sharif acceptance of invitation he said, an international agenda has been given to the PM Nawaz Sharif that improve ties with India at every cost. Fight with your army and normalize ties with India.
“Such impression is emanating  from this decision that India is leader of this region. The way SAARC countries have been invited to the oath taking ceremony, it seems as if we are under the shield of India and we have accepted its hegemony," he underlined.
He held that Indian media had broadcasted the news of PM Nawaz Sharif participation in oath taking ceremony a day before but our foreign office was refuting them. “We are eager to forge better relations with India but are not ready to accept its supremacy,” he announced.
Chief of Jamat ul Dawat, Hafiz Saeed said PM Nawaz Sharif should represent people of Pakistan. Modi invitation was accepted to please India and US. Talking to journalists in Karachi he said "what answer he will give to Kashmiris on his return from India."
Terming PM Nawaz Sharif decision to visit India inappropriate he said PM Nawaz Sharif is PM  of  Pakistan and he should talk of interests of Pakistan. He remarked that people of Kashmir had given clear message to international community during the polls that they stood behind their freedom movement. Nawaz Sharif will have to give account to Kashmiris on his return from India whether his decision was correct.
