QUETTA A Frontier Corps personnel narrowly escaped a powerful bomb blast in Quetta on Friday. The Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack. A Frontier Corps vehicle carrying bricks under armed personnel escort was on it way in Mianghundi area, some 10 KM away from Quetta city, when a remote controlled bomb planted along the road side went off. None suffered injuries in the attack as the blast occurred after the vehicles passed by. Meanwhile, Azad Baloch, the spokesman of the Baloch Liberation Army, called the local newspaper offices and claimed the responsibility.
