ISLAMABAD : PM Nawaz Sharif would attend International Nuclear Security Summit 2014 (NSS-2014) to be held in The Hague on March 24-25, which aims at formulating measures to prevent nuclear terrorism. PM Nawaz would address the moot and assure the world community Pakistan's nuclear assets are under no threat. On the sidelines, he is likely to meet US President Barrack Obama and Indian PM Manmohan Singh.
It will be the third edition of the conference, succeeding the 2012 Nuclear Security Summit. Besides 58 world leaders, some 5,000 delegates and some 3,000 journalists would also attend the event.
The moot will chart the accomplishments of the past two years, identifying which of the objectives set out in the Washington Work Plan and the Seoul Communiqué have not been met and proposing ways to achieve them.
