District Veterinary Doctors Association (DVDA) President Dr Wajid Ashraf and other office bearers have accused revenue patwari Bashir Dogar and his son of torturing In-charge Qadir Bakhsh Wala Veterinary Hospital.
Addressing a press conference here, the DVDA chief claimed that Patwari Bashir Dogar and his son Zeeshan Dogar who is PRO to the Sahiwal DPO thrashed Vet Ameeq Ahmad when he failed to visit their house. They informed that the accused called the doctor to their house to check their animals. However, the doctor failed to show up as he was on leave. Later, both the patwari and his son went to the doctor’s house where they tortured him severely. Dr Wajid and other office bearers of the DVDA demanded stern action against the patwari and his son. They warned to launch a massive protest if the accused were not brought to the book. The DVDA office bearers also demanded security for vets.
