QUETTA - Five people, including a woman, were killed in separate incidents of firing in the provincial capital on Saturday.
Unidentified armed motorcyclists killed Qari Abdul Basit Lehri on Kasi Road. The motive behind killing is yet to be ascertained. In another incident, gunmen ambushed a vehicle on Chaki Shawani Road in Sariab locality and killed two people, identified as Adam Khan and Ali Ahmed, after dismounting them. Police moved the bodies to hospital for autopsy and later handed over them to their heirs. Separately, armed men stormed a house in Kashmirabad area of Qambarani Road. They shot a woman, Asia Bibi, dead. Moreover, Jamil Ahmed Rind was killed in a firing incident in Jail Road Huda. Police shifted the body to hospital and cited old enmity as the motive behind killing.
