OKARA - A woman was killed over a petty scuffle here in Village 5/4L the other day.
As per detail, Shamim Bibi, wife of Yaar Mohammad, went to a water tap to fetch drinking water. There she went into argument with a man identified as Asghar over some issue. Having enraged Asghar took bricks lying nearby and hit her head, killing her on the spot.
The culprit managed to escape. The Saddr Police took the body for autopsy and registered a case against the accused.
