BAHAWALPUR - The Health Department in collaboration with the Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a seminar to spread awareness among industrialists and workers about safety and precautionary measures to fight Dengue Virus.
The seminar was chaired by EDO (Health) Dr Arshad Ali Bajwa while District Coordinator (Preventive Programme) Dr.Attiqur Rehman, District Coordinator (TB DOTS Programme)  Dr Shahid Iqbal Baig, Ammarah Manzoor, Atif Aziz and Jahanzeb Niazi highlighted the main causes of dengue virus and TB.
They urged the industrialists and the workers to adopt maximum preventive measures for safety from this virus and diseases. They remarked that better working conditions under clean conditions could help a lot to overcome these diseases and workers should be given health conditions for working for the better health and production output.
