Glad grads with degrees

HYDERABAD  - A total of 345 postgraduates and graduates of Isra University Hyderabad Saturday received their degrees in the 11th Academic Convocation of university.
Isra University Chancellor Prof Dr Asadullah Kazi who presided over the convocation conferred degrees on postgraduates and graduates of the university in disciplines of Medical Sciences, Dentistry, Nursing Vision Sciences, Physical Therapy, Management Sciences, Electronics, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Software Engineering and Telecommunications.
Out of 345 recipients, 142 received degree for Bachelor in Medical Sciences, Dentistry, Nursing, Physical Therapy and Vision Sciences whereas and 45 received postgraduate degrees in different programmes of medical and allied medical sciences.
In addition, 89 recipients received degree for Bachelor and 15 for Master in Business Administration, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Software Engineering and Telecommunications while eight M.Phil degrees were awarded in Management Sciences.
Apart from that, one recipient also received the degree of Ph.D in Electronic Engineering. 
Prof Dr Asadullah Kazi also awarded gold and silver medals to outstanding students for securing positions in their relevant faculties and departments.
Irrum Aftab, a graduate of MBBS programme received a gold medal in the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Medical Sciences and she also received a silver medal in the division of Basic Sciences.
Another graduate Quratul Ain Maqsood of BDS programme received gold medal in the Faculty of Dentistry and Allied Sciences while she also received silver medal in the Division of Basic sciences and AnushaRathi received a silver medal in Clinical Dental Sciences.
Besides, Muhammad Moizullah Khan, graduate of MBBS programme received a silver medal in the Division of Clinical Sciences; Dilshad Khatoon, graduate of BS (Nursing) programme received silver medal in the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Medical Sciences, Suhail Wahab Khalil, graduate of BS (Vision Sciences) received silver medal in the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Medical Sciences and Mukhri Pasham Memon, graduate of DPT (Doctor of Physical Threapy) received silver medal in the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Medical Sciences.
In addition, Zainab Irfan, graduate of BS (Software Engineering) received gold medal in the Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology and also received a silver medal in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
Syeda Ifra Naqvi, graduate of  BBA programme received  gold medal in the Faculty of Commerce, Economics and Management Sciences and she also received silver medal in the Department of Management Sciences. Bilal Karim Mughal, graduate of BS (Telecommunication) programme received silver medal in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer. Besides faculty members and notables, parents and large numbers of students attended the convocation.
