Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani while taking a notice of unannounced load-shedding schedule way back in the country, directed ministry of water and power to put an end to it within next 24 hours.
The PM who is currently in Seoul attending a two-day summit on Nuclear Security, directed the Ministry to end unannounced load-shedding within 24 hours.
He has also called for a report regarding the issue.
On Monday, wide protests continued in Lahore and Faisalabad against prolonged duration of power outages.
While to mount political pressure, the PML-N also announced a schedule of holding country wide protest against the situation from March 31.
