Pakistan not sending troops to any country: Pervez Rasheed

Islamabad- Information Minister Pervez Rasheed today said that the government was not sending its army to any other country. Talking to journalists, he said Pakistan will not interfere in internal matters of any country. He said media and politicians are spreading speculation regarding $1.5 billion gift from a friendly country.

He said no country has requested Pakistan to send its troops to their countries, adding that Pakistan was not interested in sending its troops to other countries. He said Metro bus service project is being established for common people of the twin cities with an aim to provide them modern transportation facilities.

The minister said Imran Khan’s PTI is following PML-N government policies in KP. He said dialogue process with Taliban is moving towards success, adding that Nawaz government wanted peace to be restored in the country. Rasheed said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has a vision to establish friendly relationship with all neighbor countries.

On the issue of Bangladeshi government order of banning its citizens not to carry flags of other countries, the minister said sports must be kept away from politics. He termed it a ridiculous decision, saying that the cricket fans should not be stopped for supporting their favorite team.
