At least seven persons of the same family including two women and five children were killed while eighteen others sustained injuries when a van skided off road and fell down the bridge here in the wee hours of Sunday.
According to police the accident took place at Shahra e Hazara when a van carrying 25 members of a family including women and children was returning after seeing off a relative at Islamabad Airport, fell off a bridge
As a result of accident seven family members including two women and five children were killed on the spot and 18 sustained wounds.
The deceased and injured were the residents of Tarhana Malkan village, Abbottabad.
The injured were shifted to the hospitals in Haripur and Abbottabad. Condition of two injured persons was stated to be critical.
