LAHORE- Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said a high powered commission for overseas Pakistanis will soon be formed to redress their grievances. He said majority of the expatriates settled across the world are facing hardships regarding their properties and other matters in Pakistan.
The Governor said that the commission's full-fledged secretariat would be established in Lahore and an Overseas Pakistanis Commissioner for Punjab would be appointed to look into the problems. He added all their issues will be resolved under one roof. Ch. Muhammad Sarwar said the government will not allow anyone to harm the interests of the overseas Pakistanis.
