Hoti's brother remanded to police in arms scam

PESHAWAR  - The Accountability Court on Saturday handed over Amir Ghanzan Hoti, brother of former KP chief minister Haider Khan Hoti, on 14 days physical remand to police in weapons purchase scam.
When the hearing was started, police informed the court that the accused does not cooperate with the NAB authorities in arms scandal case and he is not providing the password of the black berry set aimed to secure the data through which he had communicated with other dealers. 
They said that blackberry set of the accused has been sent to forensic laboratory, Islamabad to ascertain his links. 
Lawyer of the accused Lajabar Khan informed the court that Amir Ghazan Hoti was not in the country at the time of weapons scam and his detention was illegal. The accountability judge asked for showing the passport of Ghazan Hoti, which was later presented to the court. The court sent the accused on 14 days remand for further investigation.
