Int'l moot on computational, social sciences starts in Turkey

MARDAN - The 2nd International Conference on Computational and Social Sciences, a joint venture of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and Recep Tayyip Erdogan University, Turkey started on Tuesday in the Turkish city of Rize.
A press release issued on Tuesday said that researchers from 22 countries are participating in this conference and 552 papers were received.
On the 1st day of the Conference, Vice Chancellor AWKUM Prof. Dr Ihsan Ali was the chief guest. On this occasion, Rector Recep Tayyib Erdogan University, Prof. Dr Hussain Kareman while addressing the 1st session of the conference reiterated that the conference will prove fruitful for both the countries and this will lead to ample opportunities for research along with bridging the communication gap between the faculty members of various universities taking part in this conference.
On the 1st day of the conference, VC Kohat University, Prof. Dr Nasir Jamal Khattak, VC University of Haripur, Prof. Dr Nasser Ali Khan, Associate Prof. Dr Abdul Hameed, Prof. Dr Nazer Ahmad Zafar of King Faisal University KSA, Dr Tariq Ilyas of King Abdul Aziz University Jeddah, Dr Gupta from India, Prof. Dr Jehanzeb and Prof. Dr Sher Afzal presented their papers.
Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali while addressing the gathering reiterated that the purpose behind the conference is to share our experiences and work with each other.
He further said that for the promotion and uplift of education, AWKUM is providing its platform for all the universities of the world so that the coming generations are prepared to face the current challenges.
