Establishment never wanted PPP to reign: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari blamed establishment for its party defeat in May 11 elections, adding that certain elements in establishment didn’t want PPP to reign the country.
Addressing a rally on Benazir Bhuttu’s death anniversary in Garhi Khuda Baksh, Bilawal Bhutto said peace talks with Taliban could not be held.
Terming Imran Khan as ‘Buzdil Khan’, PPP chairman said PTI choked Nato supply to protest the killing of slain TTP chief Hakeemullah Mehsud.
Referring to PTI’s demand to end drone strikes, he said militants would continue to attack even if drone strikes were halted in the tribal areas.
Bilawal also demanded the Punjab government to launch crackdown against the militants safe havens in the province.
PPP chairman also assured Nawaz Sharif that his party will stand with him if anyone tries to derail democratic system.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also announced that all children of Benazir Bhutto, including Assefa Bhutto Zardari and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, will take part in active politics.
He said that he would launch a jihad against terrorists. “Elimination of terrorists is the only way to restore peace in Pakistan,” he said.
The young PPP leader announced that he would stand by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif if any attempt was made to derail democracy.
He lashed out at PTI Chairman Imran Khan, saying that terrorism would not end even after the cessation of drone strikes.
“Martyrdom is my destiny and Garhi Khuda Bux is my final resting peace,” he said.
Bilawal said that Benazir Bhutto’s younger daughter Assefa will take part in active politics for public and would never step back.
Meanwhile, there had been news that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will contest by-election from NA-204 constituency of Larkana.
The decision was taken after MNA Ayaz Soomro vacated the seat. He will now be appointed as law advisor to the Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah.
In 2013 Bilawal Bhutto Zardari turned 25, thus becoming eligible to run for the National Assembly, as the Constitution requires the minimum age of lawmakers to be 25.
According to sources, Bilawal will soon be appointed opposition leader in the National Assembly after winning the election.
