At least three laborers were killed and 12 others injured when boiler of a factory exploded late Thursday night.
According to details, some laborers were repairing a leaked oil pipe at a textile factory located on Sargodha Road. In the meantime, the boiler went off with a bang and heated oil spilled over the laborers, resulting in the deaths of three of them. As many as 12 others sustained burns injuries.
Rescue personnel rushed to the site and shifted the bodies and wounded to Allied Hospital. According to hospital sources, two laborers are in critical state.
Meantime, police apprehended three people including the owner of the factory.
