Turkish first lady, Shahbaz open Erdogan Hospital today

MUZAFFARGARH: Turkish First Lady Ermine Gulbaran Erdogan will arrive at Multan along with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday (today) on a special plane from where she will leave for Muzaffargarh in helicopter to inaugurate Recep Tayyib Erdogan hospital and a colony for the flood affectees of 2010.
This state-of-the-art hospital is a gift for Pakistan by the people and government of Turkey which is equipped with latest medical facilities and equipments. The machinery and the facilities provided in this hospital are not available in any hospital of Karachi and Lahore. Turkey has used the hard earned money of its people with sincerity for providing facilities to Pakistani brethren.
Special security measures have been taken in Muzaffargarh and at Multan airport to avert any eventuality. The guest will also meet the flood affected women in Muzaffargarh.
Facilities are being provided to the poor people free of cost in Tayyip Erdogan Hospital at par with Agha Khan Hospital Karachi and Shaukat Khanum Hospital Lahore. Hospital will start functioning completely by June 27 (Friday) where no one will be allowed to do politics but standard of service will be maintained. The Punjab government will give annual grant to the hospital as assured by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Meanwhile, DCO Hafiz Shaukat Ali and the DPO reviewed the security and other arrangements made for the visit.–Staff Reporter
