PESHAWAR - At least five dead bodies were recovered from tehsil Pindiali of Mohmand Agency on Monday morning.
According to the political administration of the agency, the dead bodies were recovered from Tamanzai area of the Pandyali tehsil. All the deceased appeared to have been shot dead. However, it could not be independently verified. The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for autopsy.
Meanwhile, there has been curfew in Pindiali, Safi, Halimzai and Baizai tehisl of Mohmand Agency for the past two days as forces have been conducting search operation. The curfew was imposed after six security officials were martyred in a roadside bomb attack in Pindiali tehsil on Saturday last.
There has been an increase in attacks on forces in Bajaur and Mohmand agencies after a faction of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Mohmand Agency chapter, called for ending peace talks with the government and announced to wage a war against the government and armed forces.
