ISLAMABAD (APP) - The parliamentary leader of Fata group in the national assembly, Munir Orakzai has said that 15 parliamentarians from Fata are united under his leadership and part of the current democratic government. We have complete trust in the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minster Yousuf Raza Gilani and agree with all their policies, he told APP on Sunday. Reiterating his complete support to the government, he said the Fata group was among the founders of current coalition set-up and would continue playing its role for strengthening the government. We assure the government of our unequivocal support as we know that it is necessary for the nascent democracy to flourish in the country, he added. Orakzai said a section of press was engaged in propaganda to destabilise the government which was deplorable. He said through the 18th Amendment, the present government had handed over financial and administrative rights to provinces which would help strengthen the democratic system.
