PML-N role for minorities uplift lauded

Our Staff reporter TOBA TEK SINGH - PML-N District Minority Wing President Rashid Jalal has appreciated the role of the party MNA Haji Junaid Anwaar Chaudhry, MPA Mian Muhammad Rafiq and District President Ch Amjad Ali Javed for giving due attention to the development of minority localities in the area. While speaking at the inaugural ceremony of recently constructed boundary wall of Govt Primary School Chak 296/GB, he stated that huge funds had been provided by them for the uplift of minorities areas. Speaking on the occasion, Atif Jamil Pagaam said that minorities of the district were supporting the PML-N for the role it had played in the development of the area. MNA Haji Junaid Anwaar Chaudhry, Ch Amjad Javed, Ch Altaf and Haji Abdul Ghaffar also spoke on the occasion. LABOURERS BODIES MEET: A meeting of different trade unions was held here on Monday under the auspices of the Society for Human Development. The meeting was attended by the representatives of Bhatta Mazdoor Union, shoe-makers union, Shaheen Labour Union of Kamalia, TMA Employees Union (CBA), Sanitary Workers Unions of Toba and Gojra and Peasant Women Workers Union. On the occasion, Ayub Anjum and Klement Kemey urged the participants to unite on a single platform to launch a struggle for the rights of workers in the district.
